🧳 What do I need to bring? Pack for **five days in the North Carolina mountains** — it’ll be chilly, so think layers! Here’s a helpful list to get you started: **Clothing & Gear** * Warm clothes (hoodies, jackets, long sleeves, jeans, etc.) * Comfortable shoes for walking and hiking * Pajamas and a change of clothes for each day * Rain jacket or poncho * Hat, gloves, and other cold-weather gear **Sleeping & Hygiene** * Sleeping bag or twin sheets & blanket * Pillow * Towel and washcloth * Toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, deodorant, etc.) **Outdoor Adventure Gear** * Closed-toe shoes for ropes course and paintball * Optional: old clothes for paintball * Water bottle * Flashlight or headlamp **Extras** * Bible, journal, and pen * Small backpack or day bag * Snacks for the cabin (optional) * Spending money for travel stops
🚗 No worries — we’ve got you covered! We’ll have a Google Doc for rides to help everyone coordinate travel. If you’re driving: Add your name, contact info, where you’re leaving from, and how many open seats you have. If you need a ride: Check the document to find a driver near you and reach out directly to make arrangements. It’s a simple way to make sure everyone gets to Whisper Mountain safely — and maybe make a few new friends along the way!
💵 The cost is $200, which covers lodging, all meals at camp, and most activities (including the ropes course). Paintball is an optional activity and will require a small additional fee if you choose to participate. Please note: You are not officially registered until your $200 payment has been received.
